There's more gin than tonic in this glass!
After watching such an amazing sunset, we decided to toast our first proper night in Luang Prabang in a cool bar (called Junitas) we discovered on the bank of the Mekong River.

When I asked for a gin and tonic, I hadn't quite bargained on the large goblet I was to receive. However, it was so refreshing I had another one!

Thanks Thong! Great to meet you fella, keep in touch! :-)

PS: Needless to say, the staff were pretty impressed we managed to get through it ;-)

Love the goblet of gin. Glad all going well. We managed a trip on the Tonle Sap river on our way to or from Batenbong; can't remember which. It flows one way at certain times of the year and then reverses its flow for the next part of the year. We broke down on it in our small boat. Larger boats sometimes can't navigate the river as the water level is too low. Happy memories. Needless to say, there is no such word as 'can't fix'. They welded a new part to the motor and off we went. Looking forward to more news. Love to you both

Dear Adrian and Victoria, The above was of course Cambodia. We loved Luang Prabang. Only had 4 or 5 days there. Could have happily stayed longer!! Travel safely, enjoy Christmas and a Very Happy New Year to you both
