So it's official, we like Chiang Mai - a lot.

So much, in fact, that we've decided to rent an apartment for a month and really get to know the city properly. There's just something really nice about the town: the vibe is mellow, the people are friendly, the food is great, and there are some really cool bars... and we've barely scratched the surface yet. On top of this, it's a great place to use as a base while we explore nearby regions and habitats.

We've found an apartment (it took all of yesterday,  but we got there), and it even has a pool which is great.

Now to plan the next few days of adventures... :-)

My goodness you two, you certainly know how to pack it all in! Looks like you are having a marvelous time and experiencing so many different and fascinating things. It is wonderful to watch and even better to be able to engage! I almost feel like I am there with you! (Fortunately for you I am not!). Keep updating, keep enjoying and stay safe! I eagerly await the next installment! Love and hugs Tinaxxx

Great stuff Adrian and Victoria. Once the bug bites, it's difficult to stop; Burma, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos are only next door, although visas take some time to sort out. Love all the pics and film. Brings back happy memories, although we never managed all the islands you've visited; well done and many congratulations on the wedding. May you both have many happy years of travelling and life journeys together and enjoy the companionship that goes with the ups and downs. Keep chatting and sharing stuff and keep safe.
